Basic Information Tell us a bit about yourself.

I Would Describe Myself As SWM, with not a lot of baggage, fit body, expressive mind, glass half full attitude and forward vision. I try to show respect for, and treat all people well. I like to go out and do things, or stay in like rent a movie. A balance is good. I'm down for most things. I've lived up here for a while but have not seen all of this state, the surrounding mountain states, and a lot of Washington and Oregon; therefore, want to do some road trips and getaways with friends and or someone special when that happens and warmer weather happens.

I've been going to some Christmas parties with certain "social" or "activity" groups, but am not finding any women there I'm interested in or attracted to. Certainly there will be more attractive women downtown, at the bars and clubs, etc - but that's not something I'm regularly into, and really is not a good bet to meet somebody anyway. It's something I would do when I'm already with somebody, or with a group of people. That does put some expectation on online dating to produce the goods. One guy at a "social" party I was at (and left early) told me even if no women I'm interested in, that I might meet people in general that know someone. So that did get me to acknowledge that networking, just as it's the effective thing to do in business, might bring a potential mate to me as well - and if nothing else make some cool new friends in the process...Still, I can only take so much of the "social club" type of parties.

I have no unrealistic expectations of others. That's different than not trusting people. Need to take a little risk to get some reward. I'm also pretty damn honest and don't know if that's normal in "the game". I'm a pretty casual guy and down to earth. Rather than brag or make claims, I hope to continually acquire and demonstrate class and subtlety in my own behavior. My achievements, how I solve problems, and handle struggles, would unfold gradually to my future partner and she'll hopefully see the attractive qualities of confidence, competence, and strength.

Which brings me to what I'm looking for an -attractive, athletic, intelligent and exciting woman with a good sense of humor, who isn't crazy, and someone who isn't afraid to hold on loosely, isn't afraid it's going to slip away. In other words, wants something, and trusts, and is someone I can trust. Simply put someone I feel chemistry with, and click with. Someone who finds me special in return.
