I Would Describe Myself As Work hard, caregiver for elderly father, shy at first, loyal friend with a big heart. Enjoy spending time with my family. There are times when I seem a bit too patriotic, but I do love and respect our military. Guess it runs in the family. My interests are wide and quite varied; too much to list. I do love my Kindle; only need to carry it instead of a dozen books. Don't know why it took me so long to get one. Now to just learn how to use my phone as well as I do my Kindle. At least I can handle the important things. LOL Love to smile and have fun and relax, even if it's sitting on the porch in a rocking chair watching the world go by enjoying a good conversation....or even no conversation. My father is in his waning years and I enjoy the time I have left with him. I don't mind cooking a good meal, but it's not much fun cooking for one. Caring, understanding, trustworthy, honest, ethical, integrity are all a big plus in a person. Big hearted, giving, loving, still believe in the Golden Rule. Like to spend time with family and friends. Like to see new places or just stay at home and relax. Don't have to be talkative, sometimes companionable silence is all that's needed, a look, a smile, a touch. Still have a lot to give and share with another. Sincere, kind, integrity and honesty are a must, sense of humor, can mix easily in different situations. Doesn't play games or lead someone on; no deception; some who genuinely cares. I believe in giving someone a chance. Friends first, but it takes 2 to form the bond. It's a continual give and take. If you don't give it a shot, you may never know what you've missed out on. Life's too short and there's too much left to not enjoy it with someone you care about.
