I Would Describe Myself As I AM FUN! If there is nothing else you ever care to know about me, know that! :) I am well educated, gentle and trusting. (there is a secret message inside this description hint look for letters) Honesty is the number one trait that I admire the most. Share with me a philanthropic care for the people and world around us and we would probably make a dynamite couple! Monogamist only please. (v) A mischievous sparkle in your eye and a sense of adventure wouldn't hurt either! ;) How about a river rafting adventure or jumping off a high cliff into a deep river gorge? Have you ever tried the "divings"? i.e. Scuba or Sky? I have done one of them, you must guess which? I am warm and sensitive and genuinely care for those I love. (o) I am as loyal as a German shepherd and as ferocious as a pit bull when my loved ones are threatened. I fancy myself a writer but have never gone to the trouble of getting published. I enjoy European history but just read "East of Eden" which I thought was a spellbinding tome. I was raised in Southern California and have traveled throughout North America and to Europe. I actually took the Queen Elizabeth II to France and England. It was neato! :) I was a kid who grew up running around barefoot in the orange and avocado orchards of Ventura. I went on to play football in high school and was also (r) in the senior play! I ventured further to the University of California and then to the University of British Columbia gathering up several degrees as I went. Working for the film industry as an Assistant Director and then as a personal driver for Directors and Movie stars, kept me in Vancouver. It certainly has been a blast! "Do what you love (your passion) and you'll never work a day in your life." (remember that saying?) I have seen the the darkest of nights on the Bering sea during winter as a king crab fisherman and lavished on a sunny day lying on a Mexico beach (p) living like a king. (more like "The Dude" but whatever...did you catch that reference?) I've dined at home with one of the most powerful California bankers (I was his daughters boyfriend) and also hung out with "gangstas" in Oxnard. I really do pride myself in being able to integrate into any social structure with ease and familiarity, yet, still keep my wits about me. (e) From participating in University forums with professors to sitting with the homeless on a street corner and giving them an ear to listen and understand. (n) I do not judge. And for that matter, I don't really appreciate judgmental people. A kind heart and word can really make a difference in others lives and your own! It is said that, "the eyes are the window to the soul" and I believe that to be true. What I really want to see in the eyes of the woman I love, is, that she feels safe and melts when I look deep into her soul. (d) Okay, so let's get down to the "nitty gritty", shall we? Why am I here. Well, if you haven't figured it out yet, I'm rather fearless. I found this place by accident. I will try most things once so I thought, "what the heck?" I mean do I really think this will work? Will I meet the woman of my dreams, here? Well, I haven't met the right one yet and I've never been married. I've come close a few times but, in the end they just weren't the right ones. (g) So, yes, if lightning did strike I would be happily surprised! (m) So, what if I did find the right woman and relationship here? (a) Well, here is what it would entail. Trust, safety, companionship and passion which is all pretty basic stuff. (i) So, back to my interests. (l) I love the ocean and don't like to be away from it for too long. Sailing is my favorite, but power boating is fun too. (c) I used to be a ski tech (I made racers skis go faster) at Squaw Valley and Mammoth.) (o) So, yeah, I like to ski. I also LOVE drinking champagne in a hot tub on a cold winter's night on the mountain! :) (you can do that at Squaw!) (m) Thanks for reading. Good luck with finding "him".
