I Would Describe Myself As Hello! And thank you for taking the time to read my "self description"!

I do think it's a teensy bit awkward writing about myself, but here we go...I enjoy life! I believe that life is meant to be lived and not wasted. That belief leads me to enjoy many things and makes me open to trying new ones. Of coarse I don't relish the thought of bad experiences, but I do believe that bad experiences build character, maturity and help you appreciate good times when you have them. I enjoy music of all kinds, especially live. I actually have an oboe, clarinet and base guitar collecting dust in my spare bedroom (shame on me for not practicing). I love the arts, mostly performing arts. I have a background in dance; although I'm not an overly emotional person, watching a well performed ballet, with a great pit orchestra can actually make me so happy that it can bring a tear to my eye. Nature is also a big part of my life. I love being outdoors hiking, boating, camping, or just relaxing in beautiful scenery! Whether it's a beach, river, forest, lake, or mountain I like it all. Now, don't get me wrong, I like city too, but given the choice, I would pick a vacation out in nature. Animals are also very dear to me, I have two cats and donate to the ASPCA. Growing up I wanted to be a Veterinarian, but couldn't stand the thought of euthanizing an animal. Instead I went the other direction and got into human health care. I am very close to my family (although they all live in California) and consider my big sister my best friend. If you're wondering how I went from California to Clarksville, TN, it's how a good portion of Clarksville's population got here...I used to be in the Army. I decided to buy a house here and stay a while. I am an independent woman, but I also like the thought of having someone I could depend on if I needed to.

My ideal match would be someone who isn't afraid to try new things and has a wide variety of interests. Someone who can find joy in almost anything, whether it's relaxing on a couch reading a book or jumping out of an airplane. I like an attentive partner. Not one that has to spend every waking moment of every day with me (I really would not prefer that), but one that shows me that he's thinking about me. Since I do enjoy a wide array of activities I also need someone who is active (physically and mentally), open minded and knows how to comfortably behave in almost any type of situation. In other words, someone who is easy for most people to get along with, who has a good sense of humor and is lighthearted. Could you be my next adventure?
